DIRECTOR BIO

Juan Wang is a multi-disciplinary artist from Shanghai, China, who writes and directs narrative films. She has worked in radio and television, and her broad experience in art as a violinist and ballet dancer has inspired her filmmaking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art from Shanghai University, a fine arts degree from Shanghai Theatre Academy, and now an MFA in filmmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
