DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I am the youngest of four siblings. I became the primary aid to my mother as she dealt with breast cancer and eventually passed away from chemotherapy complications.
Born from a mixture of personal experiences and intrigue concerning interpersonal relationships, I made this film as a way to express to my older siblings the unspoken grief exchanged between us.
My film may not provide all the answers for how to navigate such silent challenges between siblings, but I hope it can serve as a departure point for necessary connection and vulnerable conversation.
