DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT

I grew up in a very quiet town where not much happened, so television and film have always been a way for me to connect with the outside world. They have also helped me to experience my own daily life in a fresh way. So, to me, writing short stories is not only a way to reflect on my daily life but also a way to communicate with others.

I wrote the story of the film at the end of the first year of graduate study. Due to the pandemic, I left my home country and started my graduate study in Baltimore in a rush, unable to really say goodbye to my friends and family. That’s when the story about a person trying to explore her past experiences and memories popped into my head.

I hope that this film appeals to anyone who is rushing through a new chapter in their life, and that it encourages people to slow down and savor their memories.
